Save Democracy? How about Save America.
I’ve been missing in action for a while. After the November election I took some time to think about how our country is being destroyed—and how we must fight back. We have to fight and resist if we want to reclaim what’s left of the country we used to be. We’re living through a major turning point of History and I intend to report and comment on it.
A vote many may deeply regret
In 2024 a slight majority of our deeply divided nation voted to end America as it has been since its founding.
Some traitors hate the federal government so much they want to destroy it. President Donald Trump and his billionaire bandits are happy to oblige.
A ruler to tell them how to think and live
The Trump voters decided they want a king, a dictator—someone to tell them what to do, what to think and what to believe. They want someone who tells them it’s okay to hate and to scorn knowledge and education.
The MAGA zealots drank the emperor’s poisoned Kool-Aid.
Up Yours
Now Emperor Trump and his royal court are shoving it up their asses by dismantling the federal government and shredding the social safety net while telling them they should be grateful.
Sane Americans need to get it through their heads that reasoning with the MAGA zombies is impossible.
We are in an epic struggle with a cult of cruel haters who believe they are at war with the rest of us for the future of the nation.
A lot of us agree the nation needs to change, but not to a white-ruled apartheid dictatorship.
It’s Up to You and Me
Sadly, America doesn’t have any leaders right now. So, We the People are going to have to do the heavy lifting. We need to devise Ghandi-style passive resistance to the MAGA madness.
As the old saying goes, we don’t have to get married to work together. But we do need to unite if we’re going to save, not just democracy, but the United States of America.
